Visit Barcelona

I could suggest different places about Barcelona. I think that are special and they have different prices. First of all, I suggest to you walk. Because BCN it’s a city to walk.

Touristy places in BCN:
- You have to go to The Sagrada Familia, Parque Güell, La Pedrera,Casa Batlló (all this places had been built by Gaudi)
- You have to walk for The Ramblas and Passeig de Gracia. In the middle you will find Plaza Catalunya. Near the Ramblas you can visit Plaza Real and Plaza Sant Jaume. This zone is “Barrio Gótico”. I recommend you to be careful in this area with thieves.

- You could walk in front the Mediterranean sea, because we have a big area to walk. It’s from the Hotel Vela to Vila Olímpica.
- If you are a holligan football, it’s important to visit the Camp Nou and the Museum. It’s a pity! But the 17th it has a football match (Barça – Valencia) but I can imagine that you’ll leave before.
- Also you have to go to Montjuic and Tibidabo. They’re a little mountains in BCN. In Montjuic you have a park to walking. In the Tibidabo you have a little enterteiment park, but If you want to visit one of this, it’s prefer visiting Port Aventura (By Universal) in Tarragona (100 km from BCN).

- How you are one week, if you can visit Montserrat, a special mountain with a important church (45km from BCN).
- If you have a car, can you go to visit Costa Brava, in the north of BCN (150km). There are the best beaches in Catalonia, with a mix beach and mountain. And you can eat a special paella.

- You can visit the Zoo, if you have children. Also you can walk in the Ciudadella Park.

I do not quite understand what you say about the restaurant. You want to go to a typical restaurant in Barcelona or you prefer a restaurant with views of Barcelona??
In the first case:
I suggest you go to Barceloneta Restaurant (I often go to this restaurant, because is near the beach and the meal is excellent:paellas, fish). It's a typical and great food. They also typical Catalan meal at the restaurant Agut. Another restaurant very catalan, special and expensive is Freixa Tradició http://www.freixatradicio.com/
Also one that told you and it is very typical: Restaurante Els Quatre Gats http://www.4gats.com/ . To eat or do tapas.
In the second case, if you want to see Barcelona when you are dining or eating, I recommend you:
- Torre de Alta Mar (but very expensive and if you go for a drink at the W Hotel bar you have better views and is paying a drink)
- Visual (has great views and is centrally located, with a tasting menu)
- Another great views is l'Orangine at Hotel La Florida in the Tibidabo http://www.hotellaflorida.com/restaurant_and_bars/lorangerie.cfm
If what you want is a specialty restaurant my wife and I love The Semproniana and Comerç24.
Do not miss my recommendations sandwiches are cheap and very good (Can Conesa and Viena). And you can eat products from here.
To walk:
First, if you can walk through Barcelona to visit places is better.
Places to walk and exercise:
- It is very typical walking or running in front of the sea, on the Paseo Marítimo.
- There are two parks that you can play sports or walk: Parc de la Ciutadella and the Parque Güell.
- If you want to walk in the Tibidabo, overlooking beautiful roads exist but you should have more knowledge.
It all depends on where you live.
I hope I can help you more. I am for your help when I say.
